Beste Belgen,
Zoals de meesten onder jullie wel al gezien hebben, heeft er gisteren weer een nationaal toernooi plaatsgevonden. Net zoals de vorige keer, organiseerden we het verdelen van de Battle Heroes (hoogste schade in een ronde met 5 goud als beloning) op ons officieel IRC-kanaal #Eu.Belgium . Via deze weg willen wij er voor zorgen dat IEDEREEN de kans krijgt om zo een Battle Hero medaille te kunnen binnenhalen en de daarbij horende 5 goud. Voor beginnende spelers is dit namelijk enorm veel geld!
Helaas is er een hoop commotie ontstaan rond dit initiatief. Enkele spelers deden hier niet aan mee, waardoor andere spelers een BH aan hun neus zagen voorbij glijden, maar niet alle spelers deden dit met opzet, er waren er ook die de shout te laat gelezen hadden.
Zo was er
Keeper474 , hij was niet op de IRC toen hij hitte in het toernooi en, om e-Sim-termen te gebruiken, 'stal' hij een BH van een andere speler. Toen we hem daarop wezen, bood hij zijn excuses aan en wilde hij meewerken aan een constructieve oplossing. De gemoederen waren natuurlijk al wat verhit, waardoor we besloten iedereen een nachtje te laten afkoelen en de afspraak maakten dat we dit later vandaag verder zullen uitspreken. Langs beide kanten werd er gisterenavond al goodwill getoond, dus ik ben er van overtuigd dat we hier samen zeker uit zullen geraken!
Helaas waren er dus ook spelers die wél met opzet verhinderden dat kleinere spelers een BH konden veroveren.
diogomota probeerde dit, afwisselend met en zonder succes, herhaaldelijk, zelfs nadat we hem erop wezen dat hij andere Belgische spelers hiermee hinderde. Hij ging overduidelijk voor eigen winstbejag en houdt geen rekening met zijn landgenoten. Hij besloot dan maar te proberen op de shouts zijn gelijk te halen, maar ook daar kon hij op zeer weinig bijval rekenen. Slechts enkelingen steunden zijn acties.
Het argument dat tegen ons gebruikt werd, was het feit dat ook wij meerdere BH's gehaald hebben. Klopt helemaal! Helaas waren er niet genoeg spelers op de IRC om elke ronde aan een andere speler toe te wijzen. Wij stelden een lijstje op met de aanwezige spelers die graag een BH wilden. Na het lijstje volledig af te zijn gegaan, begonnen we opnieuw bovenaan, waardoor meerdere spelers meerdere BH's konden verzilveren. Maar ook de spelers die pas later inlogden op IRC kregen hun kansen op een BH. Zo kwam
Jean ook even een kijkje nemen, kreeg hij een ronde toebedeeld, maar werd hij op het laatste moment voorbijgestoken door diogomota ! Helaas voor hem kon hij geen schade meer doen en had hij dus geen kans meer op die 5 goud.
Het is net voor deze spelers dat wij dit allemaal op poten zetten. Wij willen dat ALLE belgen een graantje kunnen meepikken. Met deze 5 goud kunnen ook de kleinere spelers zich versterken, waardoor we er als land samen sterker uitkomen. e-Sim is namelijk een spel waarin je SAMEN je land verdedigt en niet alleen!
Bovendien zou het voor ons veel gemakkelijker zijn om dit niet meer te organiseren! Wij steken daar heel veel tijd in en halen er op deze manier minder goud voor onszelf uit. Als wij dit niet meer voor het hele land organiseren, doe ik dat voor mijn eigen MU Cohors Praetoriae. Samen met mijn leden, kunnen wij alle BH's uit het nationaal toernooi verzamelen, waardoor er voor de rest niets meer overblijft. Maar dat gebeurt nu eenmaal als het ieder voor zich is.
Wij laten JULLIE echter kiezen of we dit nog opnieuw organiseren of niet! Denk er goed over na voor je stemt in deze poll, de kans op een of zelfs meerdere BH's is voor de meesten onder jullie bijna onbestaande als we dit initiatief niet meer organiseren!

Dear Belgians,
As most of you have already seen, there was another national tournament yesterday. Just like last time, we organised the splitting of the Battle heroes (highest damage in one round with a 5 gold reward) on our official IRC-channel: #Eu.Belgium . This way, we try to give EVERYONE the chance to get such a BH. The 5 gold reward is a huge amount for most starting players.
Unfortunately, there was a big fuss about this initiative. A couple of players didn't participate in this, because of this, some other players could whistle for their BH. But there were some players who didn't do this on purpose, they just didn't read the shouts in time.
One of these was
Keeper474 , he wasn't on IRC while hitting in the tournament, but when we told him about our initiative, he apologized and wanted to cooperate to look for a good solution. The feelings already ran high, so we decided to let everyone sleep on it. We agreed to meet again today to look for a constructive solution. Both parties already showed some goodwill yesterday, so I'm convinced this misunderstanding will get solved!
Unfortunately, there were players who did this on purpose! So tried
diogomota , alternatively with and without succes. He just continued after we told him he obstructed other Belgian players. It was obvious he just wanted to get ahead at any price. He tried to convince people he was right using the shouts, but he couldn't win a lot of approval. Only a few players supported him.
The argument they tried to use against us sounded like: 'you guys did earn more than one BH as well!'. True that! But there weren't enough players on IRC to give every single round to another player. So we made up a list of the players who were online and gave them a round to get their BH. Afterwards we just started from the top of list, so most players who were in IRC received several BH's. Players who logged in later on got a chance to get a BH too. So did
Jean , he came online, was appointed a round and hit as hard as he could, but in the last few seconds, diogomota passed him, so he didn't receive his BH medal. As Jean had already hit every damage he had, he wasn't able to get a BH in another round and so he didn't receive any gold.
We organise de BH-sharing for this kind of players! They are new in the game and can't yet do a lot of damage, but we want to give EVERY SINGLE Belgian the opportunity to get this 5 gold, which is a huge amount of gold for such players! In fact, e-Sim is a game in which we should defend our country TOGETHER and not individual!
It would be easier for my government and myself to NOT organise this again. This costs us a lot of valuable time and we can earn way less BH's in this way. When we won't do this again for the entire country, I will do this for my own MU Cohors Praetoriae. My members will get all BH's available in the tournament and there will be nothing left for you guys! That's what happens when everybody will have to fight for his own profit!
It's up to YOU, GUYS, to choose whether this will be organised again or not! Think about your choice in this poll! The chance you will get one or more BH's on your own is as good as impossible!

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
