justkeeptrying and I am running for congress in this election, I hope you will read this article and consider supporting my candidature.
The past month has been a turbulent time for our country, in many ways we are still aching from the wounds of political crisis. With our deflated economy merely stumbling along and military threats from other powers on the rise, it is difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s there, though - it’s definitely there.
My Vision
I plan to take this country out of its current slump. The United Kingdom is a great nation, we owe it a congress dedicated to its success, and I can for sure provide that dedication. I want to see the UK prosper, with a strong, busy and competitive economy; a government which gives back to its citizens; and a stable nation, which thrives on its own weight and solidity.
It is with this vision of stability and prosperity that I seek to enter congress, if you believe in that vision too, please support my candidacy for congress and help us build a brighter future.
My Policies
I am a liberal. I am an economic liberal and a classical liberal.
As an economic liberal, I will champion free market policies. Lower taxes will help our economy to grow (even if the state can’t line its pockets out of it) by encouraging businesses to settle or even relocate here. I will also oppose any market interference by the government. Businesses work best when they are able to grow without the naive hand of the government getting in the way. My policies will provide business owners with the confidence they need to know settling in the UK is a good idea.
I will support a diplomatic approach in international affairs, and seek to help build an MoD and an MoFA that work together on international issues, to ensure our presence remains strong and our relations good on the international stage.
I will also support greater accountability for the government. I am already involved in setting up a weekly President’s Questions, in which our CP will be held to account on their government’s work. I will set up more channels for the public and congress to challenge the government on what it is doing (or indeed failing to do).
Finally, and most importantly; as a classical liberal I believe in liberty for all. I will vote against any legislation which seeks to blindside the public or take away our rights as citizens. I will preserve the power that the public has and indeed extend it, to ensure no government ever gets too big for its boots and that as British citizens, our rights are always protected.
Myself
I am running for congress because I can provide the right characteristics to serve the country well as a congressman.
I am an active member, and am online and on IRC regularly and often. We have had a month of serious difficulty in congress caused by the inactivity of congress members, it is imperative that we have active congress members and I can provide activity.
I would also promote a more transparent way of doing things as a congressman. A good congress is an accountable congress, and I will endeavour to make my service to the British public of as high a standard as possible, by making myself more accountable to and open with the public. I will regularly give statements on my reasons for my activities in congress, be it voting, law-making or anything else.
Finally, I am committed to representing the UK citizens fully and responsibly. I am no career politician, like almost all other congressional candidates sadly are; I am not here for the titles, the power or the prestige - I am here to represent the British public. As a liberal, I believe in representative democracy, I believe every citizen has the right to be heard and I believe that UK and its citizens deserve genuine politics.
I also believe that that is what I can provide in congress, and I hope you will place your belief, your trust and your vote in me at this election.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
